* Support experienced technicians with ongoing tasks and projects.

* Undertake electrical, wiring and cabling-related work.

* Work with engineering and avionics systems where required.

* Follow technical instructions, processes and procedures.

* Maintain high standards of quality and health and safety.

* Follow COSHH procedures when handling chemicals.

* Use appropriate PPE and equipment.

* Work effectively as part of an engineering team.

* Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment.

* A practical, reliable and safety-focused approach to work.

This role is not suitable for candidates who are just starting out in engineering. Practical, hands-on experience is essential.

Qualifications

A Level 3 qualification in engineering, electrical engineering or a related discipline would be highly desirable. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Working Environment

This is a physically demanding role within an open workshop environment. You will be required to spend a significant amount of time on your feet and undertake activities including pushing, pulling, lifting and handling equipment.

The environment can involve some noise, and there may be occasions where chemicals are handled in accordance with COSHH requirements. Appropriate PPE will be provided.

Reasonable adjustments can be accommodated where required.
