We are recruiting experienced Glass Reinforced Plastic Finishers to join a leading luxury yacht manufacturer based at Osprey Quay, Portland. Working as part of a skilled production team, you will be responsible for finishing, repairing, and preparing components to the highest quality standards, contributing to the manufacture of world-class motor yachts.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in finishing, marine manufacturing, or automotive body repair who take pride in producing high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Finish and repair GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) components to a high standard.
Prepare, release, and maintain moulds of various sizes.
Carry out surface preparation, filling, sanding, polishing, and finishing work.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
Work collaboratively within a small production team to achieve daily production targets.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Follow all company health and safety procedures and quality standards at all times.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

Previous experience in GRP finishing, composite finishing, or automotive body repair.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work to tight tolerances and production deadlines.
Strong work ethic with a positive and proactive attitude.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of workplace health and safety practices.

Desirable

Previous experience within the marine or yacht manufacturing industry.
Experience preparing and releasing moulds.
Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes
