Morson Edge is recruiting for an experienced Senior Risk Analyst to join our client's Project Controls team on a major nuclear infrastructure project in Somerset. This contract opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in delivering one of the UKs largest energy projects.

The Role

Working within the Integrated Project Controls (IPC) team, youll lead Risk & Opportunity management across a designated programme area, ensuring robust governance, accurate reporting and high-quality risk analysis to support project delivery and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain project Risk & Opportunity registers using ARM or equivalent software.
Produce accurate risk reports, analysis and performance insights.
Facilitate risk workshops, reviews and scenario planning sessions.
Support Programme Directors with risk identification, assessment and mitigation.
Integrate risk data with project cost, schedule and change controls.
Present risk information at programme reviews and senior leadership meetings.
Maintain Power BI dashboards and identify opportunities to improve reporting and processes.
About You

Typically hold a degree or equivalent in Project Management, Engineering, Project Controls or a related discipline (preferred).
Significant experience in risk management within major infrastructure or other highly regulated industries.
Strong knowledge of project controls, risk methodologies and reporting.
Excellent analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience with ARM, Microsoft Office and Power BI is desirable.
Risk management qualifications (e.g. MoR Practitioner or APM Risk Level 2) are advantageous
