Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of secondary schools in the Kettering area. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced cover supervisors, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking for flexible, rewarding work in education.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with the work that has been set. No planning or marking is required, making this a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience.
The Role:
Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
Support students in completing set work
Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding guidelines
Work on a flexible supply basis to suit your availability
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, youth work, or similar setting
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Confidence leading groups of students
A flexible and proactive approach
A passion for supporting young people's education and development
