Contract Accountant

4-5 Month Contract | £400 per day | Hybrid Working

We are supporting an innovative automotive engineering and technology business in its search for a Contract Accountant to provide additional support during a busy year-end and reporting period.
This is a hands-on role focused on financial reporting, reconciliations, cost analysis, and supporting key accounting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Review cut-off processes and reporting
Trial balance reviews
Balance sheet reconciliations
Cost reporting and analysis
Investigate financial discrepancies
Fixed asset accounting, capitalisation and depreciation
Maintain the fixed asset register
Support statutory accounts and allocations
Analyse financial and salary data

About You

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred, although strong QBE candidates will be considered
Strong financial and management accounting experience
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Able to quickly integrate into an existing team and deliver results
