Maths Tutor

The Opportunity

We're looking for Maths Tutors to support children and young people of varying ages across Wiltshire through personalised 1:1 tuition.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll support learners who require alternative educational provision, helping them develop their mathematical understanding, improve confidence, and achieve their individual learning goals. Students may range from primary age through to GCSE level and may require support due to SEND, anxiety, school avoidance, or other barriers to education.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while benefiting from flexible working arrangements.

Requirements

Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, mentoring, learning support, or similar roles
Strong Maths subject knowledge
Ability to adapt lessons to suit different ages, abilities, and learning styles
Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Patient, engaging, and adaptable approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel within your local area
