Handyperson / Maintenance

IMH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for 2 experienced Handymen to join their team on a long-term 3-year social housing contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and skilled individuals looking for consistent work with minimal travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out general maintenance and repair work within social housing properties.

* Installing and drilling ventilation fans.

* Adjusting and securing windows.

* Planing doors to ensure correct fitting.

* Replacing loft hatches.

* Completing a variety of general handyman tasks to a high standard.

* Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Requirements

* Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance or property repairs role.

* Own tools essential.

* Own vehicle required.

* Ability to work independently and efficiently.

* Good attention to detail and a professional approach to work.

* Experience working within occupied social housing properties is desirable but not essential.

What's on Offer

* £20.00 per hour.

* Monday to Friday working pattern (8:00am – 4:00pm).

* Long-term 3-year contract.

* Minimal travel, with work generally based on one housing estate at a time.

* Immediate start available for the right candidates.
