Free webinar on the new IR35 -- in force on April 6th

This is your invitation to join me Dan Moss, a director at contractor accountants Orange Genie tomorrow, Wednesday March 15th, to discuss the implications of IR35 reforms which take effect in a little over 20 days.

We expect the implications of these reforms to be far-reaching, and large numbers of contractors could see their income fall in the face of higher deductions for tax and NI. The contractor community is still absorbing the impact, with many still unsure how to proceed.

Given the level of uncertainty, it’s not surprising that some agencies, end-clients and contractors are not yet prepared. Accurate information is vital to ensure that you continue to operate tax-efficiently and compliantly, which is why we’re doing everything we can to keep you ahead of the curve.

We’ve scheduled this webinar so it follows the release of the IR35 digital tool, Budget 2017 and updates from HMRC including its official guidance to PSCs, allowing us to provide an up-to-date analysis of the latest advice and information. Of course, because the revised legislation has not yet been published, the exact itinerary is subject to change.

Nevertheless, this latest webinar will arm you with all the information you need to make informed decisions about the future of your limited company, from April 6th 2017.

Barring unexpected developments, I expect to cover the following:

  • IR35- - the present position and how it will change from April
  • The implications of the changes and what they might mean for your limited company
  • Potential solutions -- what are your options, and what are the best ways for you to work after April
  • Frequently asked questions -- covering some of the important issues contractors have asked us about and, importantly, what’s troubling you about the rules.

This will be a live webinar with a Q&A session at the end, allowing you to ask any questions you may have.

UPDATE: You can now find a recording of the webinar below.
