IT workers jostle for Monaco Grand Prix prize

IT professionals are being offered a chance to attend a VIP race day experience at the Monaco Grand Prix next month.

Issuing the invitation, recruiter Randstad said that two sets of winners could even win pre-arranged flights and accommodation thanks to its partner, the Williams Martini Racing team.

They will also lap up the unique atmosphere of the 19-turn Circuit de Monaco, just 2.075 miles long but considered to be one of the most prestigious races in the Formula 1 calendar.

Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas who came 4th in the 2014 season, ahead of Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, and Jenson Button, will be driving on race day -- May 24th.

“This is a great opportunity for IT professionals to get in on the action and rub shoulders with the glitterati,” said Randstad’s UK chief executive Mark Bull.

“Simply send us your CV to enter,” the invitation says. “Whether you’re a die-hard petrol head or are just looking for a chance to brush shoulders with the glamourous elite.”

The competition closes on 7th May 2015. Wannabe winners who don’t wish to submit their CV can enter via Facebook.
