HR Advisor

We are looking for a HR Advisor to join a busy HR team on a maternity cover contract for 12 months for a financial company in Southend.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with HR experience who enjoys supporting employees and managers, building positive working relationships, and helping to create a great workplace culture. You will provide HR support across the employee lifecycle, offering practical advice and guidance while ensuring policies and processes are followed effectively.

09:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday
Salary circa £35k

Manage employee relations cases, providing advice and guidance to managers
Support HR administration and maintain accurate employee records
Produce and analyse HR management information reports
Review and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance
Assist with recruitment activities and onboarding new employees
Support payroll administration processes
Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiativesExperience & Skills Required
Previous experience working within a generalist, or advisory HR role
Good understanding of employment law and HR best practice
Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Experience managing employee relations cases
