Part Time SEN Tutor - Harlow
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking dedicated SEN Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to a learner in Harlow.
The students you may encounter may be not be in mainstream education for a variety of reasons. The students may need tuition in English, Maths, Science or Functional Skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tutor or teacher who is confident adapting lessons to suit individual needs and can build a positive, supportive relationship with a learner who may have experienced barriers to education. Often the successful candidate would be required to conduct lessons in the young person's home, in local council libraries, youth centres or other locations outside of the mainstream learning environment.

Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability
Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £25 per hour. The hourly rate will be in line with professional pay scales where these are available or based on experience if they are not available.
Hours - Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per sessionEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
6 months+ experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)To be eligible for the Part Time 1:1 SEN Tutor position through Prospero Teaching you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
