General Foreman

We are looking for an experienced General Foreman to oversee earthworks operations on a highway construction scheme.

Responsibilities

* Supervise site gangs, plant operators and subcontractors.

* Oversee bulk earthworks, cut and fill, excavation and embankment construction.

* Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme.

* Coordinate labour, plant and materials to maintain productivity.

* Monitor daily progress and report to the Site Manager.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, RAMS and site requirements.

* Liaise with engineers and site management to resolve any issues.

Requirements

* Proven experience in highway construction and earthworks.

* Strong leadership and site supervision skills.

* Ability to read engineering drawings.

* Valid CSCS card; SSSTS/SMSTS preferred.
