About this contract

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a foremen to help deliver a major civil engineering and highways package in Leeds.

Foreman Responsibilities:

* Supervising site operatives and subcontractors.

* Managing day-to-day site activities.

* Overseeing civil engineering works on a large civils scheme.

* Coordinating labour, plant and materials.

* Delivering toolbox talks and ensuring health and safety compliance.

* Liaising with the Site Manager and project team.

Foreman Requirements:

* Gold CSCS or Black CSCS card.

* SSSTS or SMSTS.

* Previous experience managing or supervising major civils or highways schemes.

* Strong civil engineering background.

* Good understanding of RAMS and health and safety procedures.

* Full UK driving licence.
