✈️ AS9100 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 📅 6-MONTH CONTRACT
Right Hire Recruitment is looking for a detail-oriented FAIRs Inspector to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment on an initial 6-month contract.
We’re looking for someone with experience in First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and a good understanding of AS9100 quality standards, ideally within an aerospace or precision engineering environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced quality professional who understands the importance of accurate documentation, traceability and compliance.
🛠️ THE ROLE
* Prepare, review and verify First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
* Ensure FAIR documentation complies with AS9100 requirements and applicable customer specifications.
* Review engineering drawings, technical specifications and inspection documentation.
* Verify dimensional inspection results against drawing requirements and tolerances.
* Ensure all required documentation, material certifications and traceability records are complete.
* Identify discrepancies and non-conformances and support corrective actions.
* Liaise with quality, production and engineering teams to resolve documentation or inspection issues.
* Maintain accurate quality records and ensure documentation is completed to the required standards.
✅ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Previous experience preparing or reviewing FAIRs.
* Good knowledge of AS9100 quality management requirements.
* Experience within aerospace, precision engineering or a similar manufacturing environment.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Understanding of inspection processes, dimensional results and product traceability.
* A proactive approach to quality and compliance.
