The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join the firm's established Business Development team, taking a leading role in developing and delivering strategic business development initiatives across key practice areas and sectors.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading the development and implementation of strategic business development plans across key practice areas and sectors
Managing high-value pitches, RFP responses, panel submissions, proposals and client presentations
Working closely with partners and senior stakeholders to develop client relationship strategies, targeting initiatives and new business opportunities
Overseeing integrated business development campaigns to strengthen the firm's market presence
Driving thought leadership initiatives, including client briefings, webinars, publications and other profile-raising activities
Leading client development programmes, cross-selling initiatives and strategic relationship management activities
Overseeing the planning and delivery of client events, seminars, webinars and networking opportunities
Managing Chambers, Legal 500 and other legal directory and award submissions
Providing strategic market intelligence, competitor analysis and industry insights to support business development decisions
Monitoring and evaluating business development performance, reporting on key initiatives and identifying opportunities for improvement
Providing guidance and support to junior Business Development team membersRequirements
Minimum of six years' Business Development experience within a law firm, ideally including experience at Manager levelVacancy Highlights
