SALARY:                    £13.85 + holiday pay (£15.52)

HOURS:                      37.5 hours per week
  
About the Role

We are looking for a positive, motivated and people-focused Housing Management Assistant to join our Canterbury team on a temporary basis.
You’ll help ensure our supported accommodation is safe, well-maintained and welcoming, working closely with Homeless & Prevention Coaches and external partners to support vulnerable people.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out regular property, health & safety and compliance checks.
Support residents with practical housing management.
Report and follow up repairs, damage and maintenance issues.
Ensure rooms and communal areas are clean, safe and ready for residents.
Manage tenancy and licence agreements and explain residents’ responsibilities.
Recognise and report safeguarding concerns appropriately.
Liaise with landlords, Housing Associations, Local Authorities and other agencies.
Maintain accurate housing, financial and administrative records.
Build positive relationships with residents, colleagues and the local community. About You

IT literate and able to maintain accurate records. Essential: Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle, plus experience of working with different agencies/professionals and some knowledge or experience of housing management, health & safety or housing law.
Experience supporting homeless or vulnerable people is desirable but not essential.
