About this contract

Our Industrial and Marine team are recruiting a SSSTS Site Supervisor (Ganger) for work in Plymouth starting ASAP.

Job Details: 

Start Date: ASAP (depending on dockyard clearance)

Rate: £23.89 per hour PAYE, overtime (weekends) £35.84 per hour PAYE

Duration: Ongoing

Working hours: Mon-Fri 07:30-17:30. Primarily weed days however must be available to work weekdays, weekends and nights on rotation when required.

Location: Plymouth, Devonport Dockyard

Duties: Site Supervisor who will be trained to run a RVT water treatment plant involving operating valves, pressure washing, connecting disconnecting hoses. Operating pumps and generators. This is a highly important operation that the project is very reliant on.

Candidates must have: 

CSCS Card

SSSTS

First Aid at Work

Experience supervising a site

Experience of working on RVT water plant desirable but not essential

Checkable Work References

With this role, you will have to undergo the following:

Drug and alcohol testing as part of induction and ad hoc

BPSS and SC clearance for dockyard - This includes identity verification, employment history review, and a criminal record check
