Contract Civil / Highways Design Engineer
Location: London (fully remote option)
Rate: £35-£40 per hour
Contract: Outside IR35
An opportunity has arisen for a Contract Senior Civil Engineer to join an established consultancy, supporting a range of highways and development infrastructure projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer looking for a flexible, fully remote contract, with the engagement expected to be outside IR35.
The Role
Delivering civil engineering design for highways and development infrastructure projects.
Producing detailed designs for roads, drainage and associated infrastructure.
Working on Section 278 and Section 38 highway schemes.
Preparing technical drawings and design information using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Coordinating with other engineering disciplines and supporting the delivery of projects from design through to approval.
Requirements
Experience working within a civil engineering consultancy.
Strong knowledge of highways and development infrastructure design.
Experience with Section 278 and Section 38 schemes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
The ability to work independently and deliver designs to project deadlines.
