Family Support Worker

Sefton Council

Ongoing contract
Location: L20 3NJ 
Working Pattern: Full-time, fully onsite
Rate: £17.94 per hour (approx. £35,000.00 per annum)

Key Responsibilities

Provide practical and emotional support to children, young people and families experiencing a range of difficulties.
Work alongside social workers within the Duty and Assessment Team to support assessments and identify family needs.
Undertake home visits and direct work with children and families to understand their circumstances and provide appropriate interventions.
Support parents and carers to develop effective parenting skills and improve family relationships.
