We are currently recruiting for a welcoming primary school in Brent, North West London, seeking a committed and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential in a positive, inclusive learning environment.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with special educational needs.
Support children with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Help pupils develop their academic, social and emotional skills.
Support positive behaviour management and encourage independence.
Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children with SEN, ideally within a primary school setting.
Is patient, caring, reliable and enthusiastic.
Has strong communication and behaviour-management skills.
Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Is proactive and confident in supporting pupils with additional needs.
Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable, but not essential).
