Location: Brize Norton
Work pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, days only
PAYE rate: Up to £26.92 per hour
Umbrella rate: Up to £36.00 per hour
IR35 status: Inside

Help keep critical aircraft maintenance activity planned, coordinated and on track.
Guidant Global is working in partnership with Airbus to recruit an experienced Short-Term Planner at Brize Norton. This is an excellent opportunity to use your airline maintenance planning and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation experience within a highly collaborative technical environment.
You will produce and maintain short-term maintenance plans, coordinate requirements across engineering and operational teams, and help ensure that maintenance and modification activity is effectively incorporated into the flying programme.
What You'll Be Doing
Liaising with the Integrated Operations Centre Planning Focal Point to understand and manage daily priorities
Producing and delivering a three-month short-term maintenance plan
Identifying maintenance task requirements and ensuring they are accurately planned
Ensuring maintenance activity is incorporated into the Flying Programme and Integrated Through-Life Plan
Working closely with Technical Services Engineers and Configuration Engineers
Coordinating with Material Support and relevant maintenance organisations to support effective maintenance and modification planning
Attending daily operational calls and providing the necessary planning information
Entering, updating and maintaining A400M planning data within the Maintenance Data System
Ensuring all planning activity complies with applicable Regulatory Articles and Atlas procedures
Supporting projects and assignments directed by the Head of Technical Support Operations
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the planning functionWhat We're Looking For
Essential
A minimum of five years' experience working within the airline industry
Experience within a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation environment
Strong maintenance planning and coordination skills
The ability to work effectively with engineering, operational, materials and maintenance teams
A structured and detail-focused approach to maintaining planning data
The ability to manage changing priorities within an operational environmentDesirable
Previous experience planning aircraft maintenance or modification activity
Familiarity with aviation maintenance data or planning systems
Experience supporting military or complex aircraft operations
Knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to continuing airworthiness and maintenance planningWhy Join?
