About this contract

Business Administrator

On-Site
6-Month Fixed-Term Contract
£175-£200 per day DOE

We're recruiting a Business Administrator to support a major ERP transformation programme.

We're looking for a strong operational professional who can step into day-to-day business activities, take workload away from senior SMEs and keep operations running effectively while key team members focus on the ERP programme.

The Role

Take ownership of day-to-day operational activities

Support supply chain, warehouse and finance functions

Oversee inventory, PO/GR processes and operational coordination

Support finance reconciliations

Maintain operational reporting and KPI tracking

Coordinate suppliers, logistics partners and internal teams

Resolve and escalate operational issues

Provide cover for meetings, approvals and routine decisions

Support ERP data gathering, validation and cleansing

Document existing processes and support process mapping

Assist with testing preparation and scenario creation

Track ERP-related actions, risks and dependencies

The Candidate

3-5+ years' experience across supply chain, warehouse operations or finance

Strong hands-on operational background

Able to quickly understand unfamiliar business processes

Comfortable working across multiple departments

Strong organisation and attention to detail

Confident problem solver who can work independently

Strong stakeholder communication skills

Process improvement or system-change experience advantageous

ERP experience is useful but not essential

The priority is someone who is operationally strong first and foremost, rather than an ERP implementation specialist.

The Opportunity

This is an ideal 6-month contract for an experienced operations professional who can quickly take ownership, maintain business continuity during a major transformation, and provide the operational support needed to free senior SMEs for the ERP programme.

You'll sit at the intersection of Operations, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance and ERP Transformation, giving you broad exposure across the business.
