Commercial Manager
Location: London - Pier Walk / Hybrid
Rate: £529 per day Umbrella

We are recruiting for experienced Commercial Managers to join a number of teams within a major public sector organisation.
These opportunities cover a wide range of industries and commercial categories, with roles spanning procurement, professional services, infrastructure, engineering, technology, corporate services and more.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage commercial and procurement activities across complex programmes.
Manage, lead and support commercial/procurement teams, providing direction, coaching and professional development.
Allocate workloads, monitor performance and support the development of team members.
Lead complex tenders, evaluations, negotiations and contract activity.
Develop commercial and procurement strategies.
Manage contracts, frameworks, suppliers, risk and change.
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers.
Provide commercial advice and support strategic decision-making.
Drive best practice, continuous improvement and value for money.
About You
We are looking for experienced Commercial Managers with proven team management and leadership experience, alongside strong commercial/procurement expertise.
You should have:
Proven experience leading and managing teams within a commercial or procurement environment.
Experience coaching, mentoring and developing team members.
Strong commercial and/or procurement experience.
Experience managing complex contracts, procurements or commercial programmes.
Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and providing commercial advice.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
Public sector experience is highly desirable, although relevant private sector experience will also be considered.
CIPS or another relevant professional qualification is desirable but not essential.Multiple opportunities available across different teams and commercial categories.
