About this contract

A fantastic opportunity for an Supply Chain Planner to join a global manufacturing business within their aerospace division. This role is based in Aldershot and is looking to offer up to £34,000 with 3 days a week working from home

The Supply Chain Planner will join a collaborative team and will be responsible for coordinating customer orders through established business processes, supporting OEM customers across industrial and oil & gas sectors in Europe and other global regions. This is a varied and dynamic role, ideally suited to someone who is highly organised, accurate and customer focused, with excellent attention to detail.

Previous experience within a supply chain is essential and experience using SAP would be advantageous.

Role responsibilities of the Supply Chain Planner include:

Creating and processing customer sales orders, delivery notes, proformas and invoices.
Managing and updating open order books to ensure accurate customer information.
Creating purchase orders for manufacturing facilities.
Coordinating customer shipments and transport bookings.
Liaising with manufacturing sites and factories to ensure orders are delivered on time.
Providing customers with relevant shipping documentation.
Supporting the consolidation of shipments to minimise customer logistics costs.
Managing and resolving invoice queries
Ensuring order acknowledgements, invoices and transport documentation are submitted accurately and on time
Supporting the creation and updating of procedures and work instructions
Providing general administration and supply chain support as requiredPerson Specification of the Supply Chain Planner:

Previous experience in a supply chain within a manufacturing environment
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
Ability to work autonomously while also contributing effectively within a team
Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work to deadlines
Strong customer service skills and a professional approach when dealing with internal and external customersSalary:
Up to £34,000

3 days a week working from home

This role will be well suited to you if you have held a role within supply chain as a supply chain coordinator, supply chain planner, supply chain specialist, supply chain executive, supply chain administrator, or supply chain co-ordinator

Please note: This is an initial 2-year fixed-term contract, with strong potential for the position to become permanent subject to business growth and performance
