Roofer

Enjoy a self employed contract, with a work vehicle provided during, working for an established local authority in the Blackburn area. This Roofer role offers consistent work across a varied range of roofing duties.

You’ll be working for a respected local authority, supporting its in-house maintenance team while providing additional cover over the coming months. You’ll be trusted to complete repairs to a good standard and use your wider building skills where required in your role as a Roofer.

I would love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Roofer, Roofing Operative, Multi Trade Operative or General Builder with strong roofing experience.

As a Roofer you will be:

Replacing damaged and missing roof tiles
Rebuilding and repairing chimneys
Completing lead flashing repairs
Repairing and replacing ridge tiles
Carrying out general roofing repairs
Completing bricklaying and slabbing work when required

Strong experience completing general roofing repairs
Bricklaying and slabbing experience
The ability to work across a varied range of repairs
Reliable transport to travel independently to the council depot
