We are currently recruiting for an experienced Area Property Operations Manager to support the effective management and operation of facilities across two secure sites in the North West.
This is an excellent opportunity for a property/facilities professional with strong operational experience and a good technical understanding, who is comfortable working within a highly regulated and security-conscious environment.
The Role
As Area Property Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of facilities, ensuring that operational, maintenance, security, safety and service requirements are delivered to the required standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing property and facilities operations across the designated sites.
Overseeing security, maintenance and associated property services.
Ensuring the needs of the organisation, employees and visitors are effectively met.
Monitoring internal performance against safety, cost, programme and quality requirements.
Identifying performance deviations and implementing appropriate remedial actions.
Managing and coordinating property-related operational activities and priorities.
Supporting the preparation, review, approval and implementation of technical specifications and safety documentation.
Ensuring relevant documentation and processes are maintained through to implementation.
Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, contractors and service providers.
Ensuring activities are delivered in line with required policies, procedures, legislation and safety standards.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong experience in property, estates, facilities or operational management, ideally within a complex or highly regulated environment.
You should have:
Demonstrable experience managing facilities/property operations.
A strong understanding of building maintenance, compliance, health & safety and technical documentation.
Experience monitoring performance against cost, programme, quality and safety objectives.
Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills.
The ability to identify issues, assess risks and implement effective remedial actions.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
The ability to work confidently in a secure and operationally complex environment.
Security & Vetting
Due to the nature of the environment, the successful candidate will require BPSS clearance, with enhanced vetting arranged by HMPPS.
