About this contract

A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Wandsworth Town is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join its Early Years team from January on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will work within a supportive EYFS setting, helping to create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment where children can thrive both academically and socially. They will support children's early development through play-based learning, contribute to observations and assessments, and build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.

The Role

Supporting children within Nursery or Reception
Delivering high-quality play-based learning opportunities
Assisting with observations, assessments and learning journeys
Promoting children's communication, social and emotional development
Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
Contributing to a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents

The Ideal Early Years Practitioner:

Holds a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
Has experience working within an EYFS setting
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Has a good understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework
Is caring, enthusiastic and committed to supporting young children
