This would suit a SEN Teaching Assistant who can build trust, recognise individual communication needs and provide consistent support throughout the school day.

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay: £85.50-£110 per day, depending on experience and assignment.
Location: Enfield, North London.
Start: ASAP, following registration and safeguarding checks.
Contract: Flexible supply and longer-term opportunities, depending on vacancies.Your Role as a SEN Teaching Assistant
You will support autistic pupils one-to-one or in small groups, helping them access classroom activities and develop independence.
Use visual timetables and clear routines in line with each pupil's support plan.
Help pupils communicate their needs and manage transitions between activities.
Support learning through interests, appropriate prompts and practical resources.
Share observations with teachers and SENCOs to help review support.What We're Looking For in a SEN Teaching Assistant
Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, or credible transferable experience supporting autistic children or young people.
A SEN Teaching Assistant who is calm, observant and confident adapting support to the individual.
Knowledge of visual supports, Makaton or PECS is useful, where relevant to the pupil.
