About this contract

We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced Interim Property Manager to look after a portfolio of high quality prime Central Birmingham residential blocks of flats, mainly owned by resident/lessee companies. Working as part of the Property Management team, you will assist in the delivery of high-quality management services to properties within the portfolio, ensuring professional management and excellent customer service is delivered to both clients and customers.

You will be based in the office 5 days a week in the Jewellery Quarter, with plenty of transport options including street parking, multi-story and train access.

An ideal background would be within property management, senior administrative or planning, comfortable on the phones with clients and managing multiple workloads at once, then I want to hear from you.

£25-£30 per hour
6 week contract (potential to go permanent)

Interim Property Manager duties:

Portfolio management – ensure your properties are well managed in line with customer & client expectations and standards set by the client
Compliance – ensure all properties fully adhere to relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards
Property finances – through effective budgeting, reporting and financial controls, ensure the effective financial management and sustainability of your portfolio
Major works – coordinate and oversee significant repairs, renovations and improvement projects in line with industry regulations
Client reporting – provide effective and timely reports and communication to relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment to objectives and KPIsTo succeed as the Interim Property Manager, you need:

Leasehold, facilities management or asset management experience within a property setting
Service charge experience (desirable)
QUBE experience (desirable)
Complaint handling experience
Experience of being able to deal with contractors and also look after a property assistant
