City Site Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to deliver a major construction fit-out project within a live hospital environment in Dorchester.
This is a long-term contract opportunity lasting approximately 9–14 months. We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong Tier 1 main contractor background, combined with proven hospital/healthcare fit-out or refurbishment experience.
The Role
The Project Manager will take responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, managing site teams, subcontractors, programme, health & safety, quality and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include:

Managing the day-to-day delivery of the project
*
Managing fit-out and refurbishment packages
*
Coordinating subcontractors and site management teams
*
Managing programme, progress and key milestones
*
Liaising with the client and hospital stakeholders
*
Managing construction works within a live hospital environment
*
Coordinating construction and M&E packages
*
Managing RAMS, permits and site health & safety
*
Monitoring quality and ensuring works meet specification
*
Chairing progress meetings and providing project updates
*
Identifying and resolving programme, design and site issues
*
Ensuring disruption to hospital operations is kept to a minimum
Essential Requirements
*
Proven Project Manager experience within construction
*
Tier 1 main contractor experience
*
Strong fit-out/refurbishment experience
*
Previous hospital/healthcare project experience
*
Experience working within live/occupied environments
*
SMSTS
*
CSCS Card
*
Strong programme and subcontractor management experience
*
Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
Previous experience delivering projects for the NHS or major healthcare estates would be advantageous.
