Job Title: MIG Welder
Location: York
Pay Rate: £16.00 - £24.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Summary: Fusion People are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy and well-established manufacturing and fabrication business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder to secure long-term work with a reputable company offering competitive rates and ongoing progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

- MIG welding mild steel components and assemblies
- Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Fabricating and assembling metal products to required standards
- Carrying out quality checks on completed welds
- Operating workshop machinery and hand tools safely
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Requirements

- Proven experience as a MIG Welder
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with mild steel and structural steel
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant welding qualifications are advantageous but not essential
