Planning & Delivery Manager
Location: London - 100% onsite
Duration: 6 months
Contract: Monday-Friday | 8-hour days
Rate: £463.40/day Umbrella
The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity for three Planning & Delivery Managers to join the Elizabeth Line infrastructure maintenance delivery team at Plumstead Depot.
This role is ideal for experienced Rail Planners / Safe System of Work Planners (SSOWP) with strong knowledge of railway maintenance planning, Safe Work Packs and Network Rail safety requirements.
Working closely with planners and delivery managers, you will help plan, schedule and coordinate maintenance activities while providing resilience across the planning function.
Key Responsibilities:
·Plan and schedule rail infrastructure maintenance activities and work allocation.
·Create compliant Safe Work Packs.
·Support possession and access planning.
·Coordinate maintenance work orders.
·Attend and contribute to planning and maintenance meetings.
·Support maintenance delivery teams with safe and effective work planning.
·Use relevant planning and asset management systems to support maintenance activities.
Essential Requirements:
Your CV must clearly demonstrate:
·Network Rail Safe System of Work Planner (NR SSOWP) competency - essential.
·Valid Sentinel Card and current PTS.
·Rail planning / maintenance planning experience.
·Experience creating Safe Work Packs.
·Knowledge of planning, scheduling and work allocation.
·Knowledge of possession planning.
·Awareness of Basic Safety Standards on the Railway.
·Basic knowledge of railway systems, including track, signalling, stations, power and fleet.
·Good Word, Excel and SharePoint skills.
Desirable Experience:
·PPS.
·Maximo, Ellipse, SAP or FDM.
·Central Access Systems.
·Network Rail, Elizabeth Line or London Underground interface experience.
·Knowledge of Asset Management Information Systems.
PRS and Maximo training will be provided.
The Team:
You will join the planning team supporting Elizabeth Line infrastructure maintenance delivery, working closely with planners and delivery managers to ensure maintenance activities are effectively planned and safely delivered.
This is an office/depot-based role at, Monday to Friday, with no hybrid working
