Reeson Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant for flexible supply opportunities across Enfield. The SEN Teaching Assistant will support pupils who require additional help to access learning, participate successfully in lessons and develop greater independence within school.

What the Role Involves
A SEN Teaching Assistant may provide focused 1:1 support to pupils with identified additional needs.
The SEN Teaching Assistant may deliver teacher-planned activities to small groups.
A SEN Teaching Assistant will help pupils engage with differentiated classroom learning.
Support communication, social interaction and emotional regulation where required.
The SEN Teaching Assistant will reinforce positive routines and appropriate behaviour.
Encourage pupils to attempt tasks independently and develop confidence.
A SEN Teaching Assistant may work towards EHCP outcomes and individual targets.
The SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers and SEN staff during each placement.
What We're Looking For in a SEN Teaching Assistant
Previous SEN Teaching Assistant or SEND experience, school experience, or credible transferable experience from childcare, youth work, care, mentoring, tutoring or behaviour support.
Confidence working with children who require additional support.
Patient, resilient and adaptable.
Reliable communication and good safeguarding awareness.
