Job Title: Visual Inspector
Location: Swindon
Contract: 12 Months
Hours: 37.50 hours per week.
Schedule: Monday to Friday. 07:00-15:00 and 15:00-23:00 rotating
Compensation: £13.86 per hour, plus a 22% shift allowance (£16.91 p/h).
What You Will Be Doing:
Performing manual visual inspections of filled vials under controlled conditions, including the use of appropriate lighting and inspection booths.
Detecting and rejecting defective units that have visible particles, cosmetic defects (like scratches, cracks, or chips), fill volume issues, or container closure integrity concerns.
Segregating accepted and rejected units correctly.
Accurately documenting your inspection results in accordance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
Reporting any abnormalities or trends to supervision.
Following approved SOPs and batch records while strictly adhering to GMP and Data Integrity (DI) principles.
Participating in qualification and periodic vision checks, as well as pre-shift gowning and wearing provided PPE.
What We Are Looking For:
A strong ability to maintain high concentration and consistency over extended periods.
Good visual acuity, and the ability to pass a visual check (with or without correction).
Elementary (GCSE) level mathematics and English.
An understanding of GMP, GDP, and Data Integrity basics.
A highly detail-oriented and self-driven attitude.
Preferred but not essential: Previous experience working in pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated production operations.
