This Commercial Finance role in Alloa will see you working at the heart of the renewable energy industry, providing essential financial analysis and insights to support key business decisions. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring the organisation's financial health and efficiency.

This opportunity is with a renewable energy organisation based in Alloa.
Description
1. Driving financial planning & analysis outputs, including budget setting, actuals to budgets, forecasts, KPIs and financial modelling.
2. Working with operational managers, development managers and the head of development to control and manage budgets.
3. Commercial input and involvement including on new business ventures re hydrogen and EVs, working with the director of these businesses as required.
4. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with budget holders and business leaders.
5. Providing financial and commercial insight on business decisions and process improvements.
6. Assisting in financial modelling to include new greenfield projects, acquisitions and existing sites.
7. Assisting in corporate activities, such as acquisitions, restructuring and setting up new legal entities.
Profile
A successful Commercial Finance professional should have:
A strong background in accounting or finance
CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to efficiently manipulate large datasets, perform complex data analysis, create dynamic financial models, and utilise advanced formulas and functions to solve problems and support decision-making.
Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong communication skills to present financial insights effectively.
Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools. SAGE would be an advantageJob Offer
Salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
Fixed-term contract with potential for further opportunities.
