Know your way around a warehouse AND SAP? 👀
I'm working with an established manufacturing business in Tankersley looking for an experienced Warehouse & Dispatch Operative to join their team.
This isn't just a pick-and-pack role. We're looking for somebody who's comfortable taking responsibility for stock accuracy, goods movements and dispatch, and who knows their way around SAP.
📦 What you'll be getting stuck into
You'll be responsible for the smooth movement of materials and finished products across the site, including:
* Receiving and checking incoming goods
* Picking, preparing and dispatching customer orders
* Processing goods in / goods out through SAP
* Maintaining accurate stock records and system transactions
* Carrying out stock checks, cycle counts and inventory control
* Investigating and correcting stock discrepancies
* Preparing dispatch paperwork and ensuring orders are accurate
* Booking materials and finished goods into the correct locations
* Working closely with Production, Planning and Customer Service
* Loading/unloading deliveries where required
* Keeping the warehouse organised, safe and audit-ready
What we're looking for
The big one is SAP.
We're looking for somebody who has genuinely used SAP within a warehouse, stores, logistics or manufacturing environment — not somebody who's seen the logo once on someone else's computer 😂
Ideally you'll bring:
* Previous warehouse / dispatch / stores experience
* Hands-on SAP experience
* Strong stock control / inventory management knowledge
* Goods in / goods out experience
* Experience carrying out stock counts and resolving discrepancies
* Good attention to detail and confidence working with stock data
* Comfortable working within a busy manufacturing environment
* A safety-first approach to warehouse operations
FLT experience/licence would be a bonus if Tremco want it, but I wouldn't make that essential unless they've specifically told you it is.
