We are currently working closely with a lovely primary school in Shrewsbury who are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis, with the opportunity for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Supporting pupils to achieve their academic and personal potential.
Differentiating learning to meet individual needs.
Assessing and tracking pupil progress.
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Working collaboratively with the wider teaching team.
Contributing to the wider life of the school.
Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching within a UK primary school.
Has a good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Is confident teaching Year 5.
Has strong classroom and behaviour-management skills.
Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed.
Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
Is passionate about helping children achieve their potential.
Is looking for a long-term opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent role.
ECTs with the relevant experience and qualifications may also be considered.
