Rate: Up to £23 per hour
Contract: 6 months
Hours: Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Visual Composite Prepper to join a busy engineering environment in Northamptonshire.

The role will involve preparing visual carbon fibre and composite components to high quality standards, including surface preparation, masking and preparation for clear coated finishes.

Key responsibilities

Prepare visual carbon fibre components to required quality standards
Prepare complex components for all stages of paint spraying
Mask complex components to customer defined standards
Maintain high quality and repeatable finishes
Identify potential processing issues and minimise production delays
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Work closely with Team Leaders to ensure work is completed efficiently
About You

Significant experience preparing visual carbon fibre surfaces
Experience preparing complex components for paint spraying
Confident masking complex components
Previous composite component processing experience is desirable
Automotive or OEM experience is desirable
Strong attention to detail and quality
