General Builder role covering Swindon, paying £23 per hour + company van and fuel, with the opportunity to go permanent after 16 weeks on a salary of £36,000–£38,000.
This is a fast-paced reactive repairs role working across occupied social housing properties as part of a response team. You'll need to have strong general building experience, particularly in paving, fencing and carpentry, and be comfortable managing a busy workload while dealing professionally with residents.

As a General Builder, you will be:
Completing reactive building repairs across occupied social housing properties.
Carrying out paving repairs and external groundworks.
Completing fencing repairs, replacements and installations.
Undertaking a variety of carpentry repairs and associated maintenance works.
Completing general building and multi-trade repairs as part of the response team.
Managing a fast-paced workload and responding to changing priorities.
Working professionally with tenants and minimising disruption.
Completing jobs safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
Completing relevant job sheets and paperwork.I'd love to speak to anyone who has:
Strong general building experience.
Previous experience working as a General Builder, particularly in paving, fencing and carpentry.
Social housing experience is preferred, although similar domestic maintenance experience will be considered.
Experience working in occupied properties.
A background in reactive repairs and maintenance.
The ability to work quickly and independently.
A professional and customer-focused approach.
A full UK driving licence with 6 points or fewer.
A DBS – if you don't currently have one, this can be arranged.

Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with 1-hour break
No standard overtime or call-out requirement
