Senior Site Agent

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Senior Site Agent to help deliver a Water Treatment Works (WTW) project in Portsmouth. The project involves tunnelling and shaft construction, so previous experience in these areas is essential.

Senior Site Agent Responsibilities:

* Managing day-to-day site operations

* Managing Site Agents, Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors

* Overseeing tunnelling and shaft construction works

* Client and stakeholder liaison

* Toolbox talks

* Health and safety compliance

* Managing RAMS, permits and temporary works

* Coordinating labour, plant and materials

* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification

* Monitoring quality and maintaining site records

* Reporting progress to the Project Manager

* Supporting programme planning and project delivery

Senior Site Agent Requirements:

* Black or Gold CSCS

* SMSTS

* Strong tunnelling and shaft experience is essential

* Previous WTW or water infrastructure experience is essential

* Strong civil engineering background

* Experience managing underground works, deep excavations and temporary works

* Experience managing subcontractors and site teams

* Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements

* IT literate

* Full UK driving licence
