Learning and Development Transition Manager
Contract Length: 6 Months
Location: Westminster (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week)
Security Clearance: SC Clearance required/eligible
Our client, a prominent organisation within the public services sector, is seeking a talented and experienced Learning and Development Transition Manager for a critical leadership role. This temporary position, based in Westminster, offers an exciting opportunity to shape the learning strategy for the Armed Forces Recruitment Service (AFRS) programme.
As a Learning and Development Transition Manager, the successful candidate will lead a team of specialists and Instructional Designers to design, develop, and implement a robust learning strategy aligned with Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the AFRS learning strategy and transition plan.
Design and deliver innovative learning programmes for civilian and military personnel.
Manage stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Oversee apprenticeship delivery and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Utilise performance data to drive continuous improvement in learning outcomes.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Significant experience in Learning & Development leadership roles, particularly within Defence or Government sectors.
Strong knowledge of DSAT and experience managing apprenticeship programmes.
Proven ability to conduct Training Needs Analyses (TNA) and capability assessments.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
