We are currently working with an established London main contractor on a £100m+ luxury 5-star hotel development in West London, and they are looking for an experienced Finishing Manager to join the project immediately.
This is a high-profile, fast-paced project requiring an experienced Finishing Manager who can take ownership of the finishing stages, drive quality and snagging, and help deliver the project through to successful handover.
The Role
* Manage all finishing works across the project through to completion and handover.
* Coordinate subcontractors, specialist trades and finishing packages.
* Drive snagging, quality control and close-out activities.
* Monitor progress and ensure finishing works remain on programme.
* Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Team, consultants, client and subcontractors.
* Ensure works are delivered to a high-quality, luxury standard.
* Identify and resolve issues quickly to maintain programme.
* Manage the final stages of the project through to handover.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience working as a Finishing Manager on major construction projects.
* Strong experience across hotel, luxury residential, commercial or high-end fit-out projects.
* Excellent knowledge of high-quality finishes, snagging and handover processes.
* Strong subcontractor and specialist trade management experience.
* Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
* Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong IT, reporting and documentation skills.
* The ability to work under pressure and drive a project towards completion.
* Immediate availability or availability at short notice.
