About the Role
Veritas Education is currently working with a secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a confident and adaptable Cover Teacher for an immediate start.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher, ECT, or experienced educator looking to secure a long-term role within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons using pre-planned materials
Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Ensure students remain focused and engaged in their learning
Adapt to different subjects and year groups where required
Provide feedback to departments and school leaders following lessons
Support the wider aims and ethos of the school
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
Strong classroom management skills
Confident delivering lessons across a range of subjects
Flexible, reliable, and adaptable
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
