About this position:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong Electrical Engineering background to support projects at a leading manufacturing facility in Slough. The successful candidate will have experience within the Food, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Automation sectors and be confident managing projects within a live production environment. A strong understanding of Control Systems and proven experience working with electrical and automation systems is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
* Manage the delivery of electrical and automation projects from start to finish.
* Coordinate and oversee contractors and subcontractors on-site.
* Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders.
* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
* Support installation, commissioning, and handover activities.
* Monitor project progress and resolve any technical or delivery issues.
* Provide technical input and support around Control Systems and automation.
* Ensure compliance with site health & safety standards.
Experience Required:
* Electrical Engineering background with relevant qualifications.
* Previous Project Engineering experience within Food, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Automation environments.
* Strong understanding of Control Systems, with a good level of hands-on or project-based experience.
* Proven experience managing contractors on industrial sites.
* Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience delivering electrical, controls, or automation projects.
* Good understanding of industrial electrical systems, Control Systems, and manufacturing processes.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
