Assembly Operative – ReadingLocation: Reading
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm – 11:00pm
We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing team based in Reading.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is looking to develop their experience within an electrical and mechanical assembly environment.
The RoleAs an Assembly Operative, your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out electrical and mechanical assembly work
Assembling electrical and mechanical components accurately to instructions and specifications
Using a variety of hand tools and assembly equipment
Working with small components and parts
Following drawings, work instructions and manufacturing procedures
Carrying out basic quality checks on completed assembliesAbout YouWe would like to hear from candidates who:
Have experience within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment
Have excellent attention to detail
Are comfortable carrying out precise, hands-on assembly work
Have a reliable and positive attitude
Are able to work the 2:30pm – 11:00pm Monday to Friday shift
