Job Description

We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Night Shift Package Handlers in Basingstoke. The role involves scanning, sorting and handling packages in a busy warehouse environment. Packages can weigh approximately 20-25 kg, so the position requires regular manual handling and physical activity.

Key Responsibilities

Scan packages accurately using warehouse scanning equipment.
Sort packages according to their destination and delivery requirements.
Load, unload and move packages safely around the warehouse.
Regularly lift and handle packages weighing approximately 20-25 kg.
Check packages for correct labels and scanning information.
Handle packages carefully to minimise damage.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Work efficiently to meet warehouse targets and deadlines.
Work effectively as part of a team.Requirements

Physically capable of handling packages weighing 20-25 kg.
Comfortable working night shifts starting at 1:00 AM or 2:00 AM.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Good attention to detail.
Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Able to follow instructions and health and safety procedures.
Previous warehouse or parcel-handling experience is beneficial but not essential
