Connections Contract Manager (Levels 6-8)
Salary: £42,781 - £60,046 per annum (depending on experience and level)
Location: Warwick, Wokingham or Glasgow (Hybrid, 1-2 days in the office per week)
Contract Length: 12-month contract with a strong potential for extension and/or conversion to a permanent position.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Connections Contract Manager to join NESO's Connections Operations team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting customers through the connection process for generation and demand projects connecting to Great Britain's electricity network.
Key Responsibilities
Manage customer contracts and agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
Act as the primary contact for customers, handling queries, challenges, complaints and case management activities.
Identify, assess and mitigate contractual, commercial and operational risks.
Resolve complex customer and commercial issues through effective problem solving and stakeholder engagement.
Build strong relationships across customers, project teams and wider stakeholders.
Ensure contractual obligations, governance requirements and key milestones are achieved.
Support multiple projects and priorities within a regulated environment.
Essential Experience
Proven Contract Management experience, including management of customer agreements.
Experience working within a regulated environment.
Strong commercial awareness with experience resolving commercial issues.
Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple projects or portfolios.
Experience handling customer complaints, escalations and case management activities.
Demonstrable problem-solving skills with evidence of delivering positive customer outcomes.
Ability to identify, assess and manage risks effectively.
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
