About this contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a major commercial construction project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising mechanical installation works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality and programme standards.

Mechanical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation teams and subcontractors on site.

* Manage day-to-day mechanical works in line with project drawings, specifications, and programme requirements.

* Coordinate mechanical works with other trades and site management.

* Monitor installation quality and ensure works are completed to the required standards.

* Carry out regular site inspections and resolve any technical or installation issues.

* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant H&S requirements, RAMS, and site procedures.

* Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Manager, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

* Monitor progress and provide regular updates on programme and manpower requirements.

* Assist with materials, plant, labour planning, and site logistics.

* Ensure snagging and remedial works are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.

Mechanical Supervisor Requirements:

* CSCS

* SSSTS

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within commercial construction.

* Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and installation.

* Experience supervising mechanical trades and subcontractors.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Good understanding of construction health and safety requirements.

* Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.

* Relevant mechanical qualifications are desirable.
