The Opportunity
A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Chemical Process Engineer to support the detailed design of a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will contribute to the delivery of complex process systems and associated utilities for a cutting-edge life sciences project.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Develop and review process engineering documentation, including P&IDs, for a large-scale pharmaceutical facility.
Support the design and integration of process systems associated with API production, including synthesis and purification operations.
Perform process calculations and engineering assessments for utilities, process equipment and supporting infrastructure.
Contribute to process safety activities, including the design and evaluation of pressure relief, venting and safeguarding systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver FEED and detailed design activities in line with project requirements.You will have the following qualifications and experience
Demonstrable experience working within API manufacturing facilities or pharmaceutical process plant environments.
Strong background supporting projects through FEED and detailed design phases.
Proven knowledge of chemical process engineering principles within regulated manufacturing sectors.
Experience producing and reviewing process engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, utility calculations and process design documentation.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams and attend a hybrid office-based working arrangement.Get in touch now
