Academics are looking for a passionate and nurturing SEN Tutor to support a primary-aged student on a 1:1 basis in the Sittingbourne area.
Are you a Teacher, SEN Tutor, HLTA or experienced Teaching Assistant who loves helping children build confidence, overcome barriers and enjoy learning again?

About the Role
As a SEN Tutor, you will provide personalised 1:1 support to a primary-aged student, adapting learning to their individual needs, interests and abilities.
You will play an important role in helping the student to:
Build confidence and self-esteem
Re-engage with education
Develop their academic skills
Enjoy learning in a calm and supportive environment
Make meaningful progress at their own pace
Develop positive relationships and routines around education

We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced working with primary-aged children
Confident supporting children with SEN
Patient, nurturing and encouraging
Able to adapt and personalise learning
Experienced in delivering 1:1 support or tuition
Passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning
